SSB Sub Inspector Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online For 51 SI Vacancies

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released the official notification for Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2026 under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

A total of 51 Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted (Combatised) vacancies are available for Staff Nurse, Pioneer, and Communication posts. Eligible candidates can apply online within the prescribed time.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules

Educational Qualification

• Staff Nurse: 12th + Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery + Nursing Council Registration
• Pioneer: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Communication: Degree in Electronics / Communication / IT / Computer Science OR Science with PCM

Selection Process

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Only for Communication post
• Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Written Exam (CBT – 150 Marks)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive salary under Pay Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) along with:

• Dearness Allowance (DA)
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Ration Money Allowance
• Other Central Government Benefits
