The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has issued an official notification inviting applications from eligible retired professionals for the post of Junior Engineer on a contractual basis. The engagement will be for a period of one year or until the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

As per the notification issued by SAI, candidates must have served in Central/State Government, PSUs, or other autonomous/statutory bodies and meet the prescribed experience and service criteria. The appointment will be based on interview performance, and the selected candidate will be posted at SAI RC Gandhinagar.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 64 years as on the opening date of application i.e. 31.07.2025.

Other Requirements: Applicants must have served at Level-06 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department or must have completed at least five years of service at Level-05 (Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800) on regular basis. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil maintenance and construction, preferably in sports infrastructure, is desirable.
