SpiceJet on Tuesday announced that it will operate four special flights from Fujairah in the UAE to evacuate stranded passengers after flight disruptions caused by airspace closures in the Middle East amid rising tensions involving the US, Israel and Iran.
The airline said the special services will connect Fujairah with Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi over the next few days, including two flights to Mumbai. It is also considering adding more flights based on demand and regulatory clearances. Scheduled Fujairah-Delhi and Fujairah-Mumbai services will resume from March 4, the airline added.
