SKUAST Kashmir Teaching Recruitment 2026 Notification, Apply Online

Sher-i-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir has released Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2026 inviting online applications for the posts of Professor-cum-Chief Scientist. These posts are in different faculties and colleges of the university.

Eligible and experienced candidates with strong academic and research background can apply online through the university website. Applications are invited from Indian nationals only. The selected candidates will work in Pay Level-14 (Rs. 1,44,200 to 2,18,200). Candidates must also submit the hard copy of the form after online submission.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• PhD in the concerned discipline
• Minimum 10 years of Teaching / Research / Extension experience at University or National Level Institutions
• At least 10 research publications in NAAS rated / Peer reviewed / UGC listed journals
• Minimum Academic / Research / Extension Score of 120
• Successful guidance of one PhD scholar or five postgraduate students

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 22 years
• Maximum age: 55 years as on 01.01.2026
• Upper age relaxation applicable only for persons already working in SKUAST Kashmir

Application Fee

• Rs. 2000 per application
• Rs. 1500 for reserved categories
