SKUAST Kashmir Non-Teaching Posts, Online Application Process To End Soon

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology (SKUAST), Kashmir has invited online applications from eligible domiciles of the UT of J&K for Non-teaching positions. The recruitment includes openings for Assistant Registrar and Assistant Comptroller posts. The online application process will begin on 15 July 2025 and remain open until 10 August 2025 (11:59 PM).

As per the official notification, a total of 4 posts are available, including 3 for Assistant Registrar and 1 for Assistant Comptroller. Candidates with a Master’s degree and meeting the required age limit are eligible to apply. The pay level for both positions is Level-10 (₹56,100–₹1,77,500).

The online application process will begin on 15 July 2025 and remain open until 10 August 2025 (11:59 PM). In-service candidates must also forward their application form through the proper channel by 25 August 2025. Details regarding eligibility, fees, and application procedure are provided below.

Vacancy Details:
There are 3 vacancies for the following Non-Teaching posts.

Assistant Registrar: 03 Posts (2 Open Merit, 1 SC)
Assistant Comptroller: 01 Post (1 Open Merit)

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for either of the posts must possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale where the grading system is followed, as per UGC guidelines.

The age criteria as on 01 January 2025 are as follows: General category candidates must be between 18 to 40 years, reserved category up to 43 years, persons with disabilities up to 42 years, in-service candidates up to 40 years, and ex-servicemen up to 48 years.

How to Apply:
Eligible candidates must apply online through the official website www.skuastkashmir.ac.in from 15 July 2025 onwards. In-service applicants must also submit a copy of their form through proper channel to the Registrar, SKUAST-K, Shalimar, UT of J&K – 190025 by or before 25 August 2025.

Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹1000 for Open Merit candidates and ₹700 for Reserved Category candidates. The fee must be paid online using Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. Applications without the prescribed fee will be rejected.

Selection Process:
The selection process will include a written test. The syllabus will be announced separately on the university’s official website. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the selection process.
