SKUAST Kashmir Junior Research Fellow Vacancy Announced At CAIML For ANRF Funded Project

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has issued a new advertisement inviting applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position at the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (CAIML), Shalimar campus. The position is under an ANRF-funded project related to AI-based animal welfare and identification technologies.

According to the official advertisement, the position is temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project. The initial appointment is for one year, which may be extended up to three years based on performance evaluation. The JRF will receive a consolidated emolument as per ANRF norms and may vary depending on NET/GATE qualification status.

Eligibility Criteria:

The essential qualification for the Junior Research Fellow position includes M.Tech, M.Sc., or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Artificial Intelligence, along with qualification in NET or GATE. In absence of suitable NET/GATE candidates, others may be considered with emoluments as per agency rules.

Desirable qualifications include proficiency in Python and other programming languages, experience in designing and developing AI-based projects, especially in computer vision, application development (backend and frontend), and sensor data analytics including IoT.

The age limit and any relaxation will be as per SKUAST-K or the funding agency norms, wherever applicable.
