
SRINAGAR: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir has announced flexible registration and possible temporary online teaching for the Spring Semester 2026 in view of emerging developments in the Gulf region affecting essential support systems.
According to an official notice issued by the university, students can complete registration either physically at their respective faculties or through an online mode. The registration, originally scheduled for March 23–24, has been extended up to March 27.
The university said the move is aimed at ensuring academic continuity as a precautionary measure. It added that teaching activities may be conducted online for a temporary period, depending on the evolving situation.
Deans and Associate Deans of various faculties and colleges have been directed to facilitate online registration and provide students with necessary details, including fee structure, account information for online payments and course offerings.
The schedule for online classes will be notified separately by the respective faculties.
Students have been advised to remain in regular contact with their institutions and follow further instructions as issued by the university authorities.
