SKUAST Jammu Walk-in Interview For Project Assistant Post Under JKST&IC Sponsored Research Project

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) has invited eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for the position of Project Assistant. The appointment is purely temporary under a time-bound research project funded by JK Science, Technology & Innovation Council (JKST&IC).

As per the official notification issued by the Division of Agricultural Extension Education, the position is for a research project titled “Development of quality planting material through plant tissue culture for the farmers of Samba district.” The selected candidate will be appointed initially for one year, extendable up to two years based on satisfactory performance or until the project ends, whichever is earlier.

The walk-in interview is scheduled on 28 July 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu. The monthly fellowship is Rs. 20,000 as per JKST&IC norms. Interested candidates must carry a detailed CV, cover letter, recent passport-sized photograph, and NOC if employed elsewhere.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Life Sciences or other relevant subjects from a recognized University or Agriculture University with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Other Requirements
The position is full-time and the candidate cannot draw fellowship or salary from any other source. Selection and service conditions will be governed by JKST&IC and SKUAST-J guidelines.
