Eligibility Criteria of Young Professional-I Vacancies

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:

• Agronomy
• Entomology
• Plant Pathology
• Soil Science
• Statistics

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Specialization in Natural Farming
• Experience in empirical data collection and sampling techniques
• Knowledge of statistical tools/packages for data analysis
• Computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and related software

Job Description

Selected candidates will be required to perform the following duties:

• Resource characterization of beneficiary farmers
• Survey of farmers’ fields
• Conduct training on Natural Farming
• Implementation of research experiments at farmers’ fields
• Data recording and tabulation
• Soil and plant analysis (N, P, K, microbial biomass and quality parameters)
• Statistical analysis and compilation of data
