
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu has invited applications for temporary Ad hoc positions under the National Soil Mapping Programme (NSMP). The positions are purely contractual and are operational in the Division of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-Jammu.
Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications in the prescribed format before the last date. Selection will be through a walk-in interview.

Young Professional II (Soil Science):
M.Sc. in Agriculture or Allied Subjects or Environmental Sciences with minimum 3 years experience in soil laboratory or soil-based projects other than degree programmes.
Young Professional II (Remote Sensing):
Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and GIS or Geoinformatics or Geospatial Applications with minimum 3 years experience in handling remote sensing and GIS software or data.
Young Professional I (Soil Science):
M.Sc. in Agriculture or Allied Subjects or Environmental Sciences with laboratory analytical work experience.
Young Professional I (Remote Sensing):
Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and GIS or Geoinformatics or Geospatial Applications with experience in handling GIS and remote sensing software or data.
Project Assistant:
B.Sc. with minimum 3 years experience in Government, Autonomous bodies or University offices.
Selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview.
Eligible candidates who submit applications on time may appear for the interview on the scheduled date.
No TA or DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Applications in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of relevant certificates should reach the office of the Principal Investigator before the last date.
Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.
