SKUAST Jammu Notification Out For Young Professional Post At Institute Of Biotechnology

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has invited applications for the post of Young Professional-II at its Institute of Biotechnology. The post is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for an initial period of six months.

According to the notification, the position is based at Chatha, Jammu, and may be extended for another six months depending on the performance of the candidate and the requirement of the institute. Candidates with postgraduate qualifications in biotechnology and relevant research experience are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must possess a postgraduate degree in Biotechnology. Desirable qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and at least two years of experience in molecular biology experiments and handling of advanced instruments such as Biolistic system, walk-in chamber, and RT-PCR. The minimum age is 21 years, and the maximum age is 45 years, with relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules.
