SKUAST-Jammu Contractual Faculty Vacancy 2025 For Plant Physiology, Apply By 24 July

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) has invited applications for a contractual teacher position in the Division of Plant Physiology under the Faculty of Basic Sciences. The engagement is on academic arrangement basis purely on a temporary contract for the 2025–26 academic session.

According to the official advertisement, there is one post available, and the position will be initially for the first semester of the session. Extension may be granted based on performance and availability of funds. The selected candidate will be paid a consolidated salary of Rs. 35,000 per month for Master’s degree holders and Rs. 45,000 per month for Ph.D. holders.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
A postgraduate degree in Plant Physiology or relevant subject with at least 55% marks from a recognized university is required.

Desirable:
Candidates with Ph.D./NET/SET qualifications and the ability to teach Plant Physiology courses and practical training in plant/crop physiology techniques will be preferred.

Age Limit:
Candidate should be between 20 and 55 years of age as on the date of advertisement.
