SKUAST Jammu: 2nd Final Selection List of candidates for the post of cleaner

2nd Final Selection list of candidates for the post of Cleaners advertised vide Notification No. 1O (Secy.) of 2o23 dated 19.O7.2023-regarding

WHEREAS, University, vide Notification No. 10 (Secy.) of 2023 dated I9.O7.2023, advertised the 06 posts of Cleaners, with the category wise break up as under :

WHEREAS, in terms of notified selection criteria, selection to the posts of Cleaners is required to made on the basis of Written Test (85 marks) and additional weightage points awarded to the candidates on the basis of parameters viz. candidates whose no family member have been in government service, including in PSUs/Boards/Autonomous Bodies etc. (5 marks); and casual/season
labourers/daily wagers and other contractual workers engaged through outsourcing of 5 years or more (5 marks)

WHEREAS, SKUAST-Jammu conducted OMR based objective type written test examination of all the applicants of aforesaid positions on 28.12.2023.

WHEREAS, on the basis of performance of the candidates in OMR based Objective Type Written Test Examinations conducted on 28.12.2023, coupled with the additional weightage points awarded to the candidates by the designated committee, the result of the candidates was declared vide no. AUJ/Secy.l23-24/SLF-16/2297-99 dated 04.12.2O23.

WHEREAS, the declaration of the result was followed by the Documents Verification (DV) of the candidates falling under consideration zone in the ratio of 1:1, vide notification no. AUJ/Secy. 123-24lSLF-I6 12379-238I dated 19.12.2O23, by Documents Verification-cum-Selection committee constituted for the purpose.

Now, therefore, the Final Selection List of the candidates for the posts of Cleaners, is hereby notified as per Annexure-I, to this University Order.

It is further notified that:

1. The above Final Selection List shall be subject to outcome of writ petition, if any.

2. The selection of the candidates have been made on the basis of the Self declaration/Certificates submitted by the candidates and if at any stage, it comes to the light that any candidate (s) has submitted false information or has secured selection on the basis of fake documents/ certificates; his /her selection is liable to be cancelled in abinitio.

Further, in term of J&K Government Order No. 528-JK(GAD) of 2O2l dated 21.06.2021 together read with circular no. l8-JK(GAD) of 2022 dated 2O.O5.2O22, the selected candidates, have to submit their email address & mobile number in the Office of the Registrar, SKUAST-Jammu for registration under “Employee Verification System (EVS)” either in person or through email [email protected] for verification of character and antecedents within a period of 07 days positively from the date of issuance of this notice.

In case, any candidate, who fails to submit his/her email address & mobile number within a prescribed period of 07 days, it shall be presumed that the candidate is not willing to opt for such appointment in the University.

The formal appointment order in favour of the selectees shall be issued separately only after receiving Character Antecedent from the concerned department in their favour.
