Seven-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured in Car Accident in South Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A minor girl was critically injured after being hit by a car in the Manigam Aishmuqam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.

Officials said an Alto car bearing registration number JK18/5544 struck a seven-year-old girl, a resident of Manigam Aishmuqam. The victim, a Class II student, sustained serious injuries in the incident.

She was immediately rushed by her parents to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Seer Hamdan, where doctors diagnosed a fracture in her leg and referred her to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for advanced treatment.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further details are awaited. (KNC)
