Seven-Year-Old Boy Killed in Road Accident in South Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A seven-year-old boy lost his life after being hit by a vehicle truck in the Kreeri uttersoo area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said on Monday.

The accident, the officials said, occurred when a truck bearing registration number JK02AH-6993 reportedly struck the minor, identified as Hasnain Zahoor, son of Zahoor Ahmad Beigh, a resident of Kreeri Uttersoo Shangus.

“The child sustained critical injuries in the incident and was immediately rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Shangas for treatment, where he was declared dead on arrival,” the officials said.

“Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway,” the officials added. (GNS)
