Security Guard Dies of Electrocution in Post Office

SRINAGAR: A private security guard lost his life after coming into contact with a live electric wire at the Post Office in Udhampur on Wednesday.

Officials said that the incident occurred while the guard was performing cleaning duties, leading to immediate electrocution.

The deceased was identified as Angrez Singh, 44, officials said.

Police and local authorities have taken cognisance of the incident, and further details regarding the circumstances of the accident are awaited. (KNC)
