Security Forces Uncover Militant Hideout Near LoC

SRINAGAR: Security forces have busted a miliatnt hideout in the Neeriyan Forest area near the Line of Control in the Nowgam sector, officials said on Friday.

A security official said that during the operation, troops recovered two M-series rifles along with four magazines, two Chinese-made pistols with three magazines, two hand grenades and several live rounds, he added.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, he added. (KNC)
