Security Forces Recover Arms Cache in Kupwara Woods – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: Security forces have recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition during a operation in the dense forests of Kupwara district, officials said on Wednesday. “Acting on credible intelligence, a joint team of the Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police launched a search in the Alachizab area of Gulgam Forest, leading to recovery.”

During the search, the forces, as per officials, recovered war-like stores, including a pistol, explosives, ammunition, and grenades. Officials described the seizure as a significant blow to attempts aimed at destabilising the region’s peace and security.

The operation, codenamed Op Alachizab, remains in progress as teams continue to comb the thickly forested terrain to rule out any hidden militant presence or additional stockpiles.
