
In view widespread protests across Valley against the killing of Supreme leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the J&K government has decided to shut educational institutes for two days as a precautionary measure.
Education Minister Sakina Itoo said that in order to ensure the safety of the students, the government has decided to shut the schools and all higher educational institutions as a precautionary measure.
“We have decided to keep schools, colleges and universities closed for two days” Minister Itoo said.
The Minister also said that the government was monitoring to the situation closely and will take the call of reopening of educational institutions after only after assessing the ground situation.
