School Vehicle Crashes into Grocery Shop in North Kashmir, No Injuries Reported – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: A vehicle belonging to Doon International School, Kupwara, met with an accident on Friday morning at Potushai near Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) School.

Reports reaching Alfaaz – The Words said the vehicle, whose registration number was not immediately known, skidded off the road after the driver lost control due to a suspected brake failure. The vehicle rammed into a Kiryana (grocery) shop owned by Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh, son of Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of Surigam.

The impact caused damage to the shop, resulting in the destruction of several goods and property inside. No casualties or injuries were reported in the mishap.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings to ascertain the cause of the accident.
