Schedule of budget discussions partially modified

Jammu, Dec 2: The J&K Finance department has partially modified the schedule of discussions on the budget proposals of four departments.

“In partial modification to the schedule for budget discussions issued vide No FD-BDGT0GEN/23/2021-03-FD-(49992) dated November 24, 2025, the discussions in respect of Jal Shakti Department (PHE), Jal Shakti Department (I&FC), Revenue Department and Industries & Commerce Department have been rescheduled,” read a circular issued by the department on Tuesday.

As per the revised schedule, the discussions in respect of Jal Shakti Department (PHE), Jal Shakti Department (I&FC) will now take place jointly on December 9 instead of December 4 and 9 as earlier scheduled.

The deliberations on the budget proposals of Revenue Department, Industries & Commerce Department which were earlier scheduled to take place on December 2 and 1, will now be held on December 17, 2025.
