Sarfaraz Bashir, Shahzada Kabir Among 5 J&K Police DySsP Promoted to SP Rank – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday ordered the promotion of five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySsP), including Sarfaraz Bashir Ganai and Shahzada Kabir Mattoo, to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP).

Owaise Rashid, Gh. Mustafa Bhat, and Ashish Gupta, are among the five promotees, as per the order.

Sanction has been accorded to the promotion of the officers to Level-11 (₹67,700–₹2,08,700) of the Pay Matrix, with immediate effect.

The order further stated that these promotions will be subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before competent courts of law.
