Sajad Lone Pays Tribute to Molvi Iftikhar Ansari on Death Anniversary – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: Peoples Conference President and MLA Handwara, Sajad Gani Lone, on Monday paid rich tributes to the late Islamic scholar and prominent community leader, Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari (RA), on his death anniversary.

Remembering him as a scholar, leader, humanitarian, and a guiding presence, Lone described Molvi Ansari as “a great scholar, a great leader, and a great human being.”

Reflecting on his personal association with the late cleric, Lone recalled their long-standing bond that began in his childhood when Ansari worked alongside his father, Abdul Gani Lone. “I had the fortune of spending time with Molvi Sahib, first as a child when he was my late father’s colleague, and later as a fatherly figure,” he said.

He shared fond memories of their travels abroad for seminars, noting the affection and warmth with which Ansari treated him. “I remember how he would order me around as he would his own children, so compassionate, so loving,” Lone added, remarking that his absence continues to be deeply felt.

“May Allah grant him Jannat,” Lone further prayed for the departed leader.
