SRINAGAR: Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for winning their first-ever Ranji Trophy title, calling it a proud and emotional moment for the region.

In a message shared on social media, Tendulkar said that Kashmir willow has long been used to make bats for many great champions. He said it is truly special to now see Jammu and Kashmir becoming champions themselves.
