Appointment of Candidate against the post of “Junior Assistant” Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, District Cadre Reasi

ORDER No. 419 – DRDJ of 2025 DATED 05-08-2025

Pursuant to the recommendations received from Service Selection Board, J&K, Jammu/Srinagar through Administrative Department vide letters number and date referred above, Sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of the following candidate as “Junior Assistant” in “District Cadre Reasi” in the pay Level-4 (25500-81100) with immediate effect;

The above appointment shall be subject to following terms and conditions:-

1) The appointee shall report to Project Officer Wage Employment {Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD)}, Reasi within a period of 21 days from date of issuance of this order failing which his appointment shall be deemed to have been cancelled without any notice in terms of Circular No: 08-JK (GAD) of 2019 Dated 04.12.2019 issued by General Administration Department, J&K.

2) The appointee at the time of joining shall produce following testimonials in original which shall subsequently be got verified by the concerned DDO from respective issuing authorities: .

a. Domicile Certificate.

b. Date of Birth Certificate.

c. Qualification Certificate(s).

d. Relevant Category Certificate (if any).

e. Physical fitness certificate.

f. Any other certificate required under rule.

Project Officer Wage Employment {Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD)}, Reasi after verifying his testimonials and other requisite document(s) shall post him as per the requirement/suitability.

3) That if the appointee has taken loan for self-employment from DIC/Employment Department, to be ascertained from the District Industries Centre (DIC) and District Employment & Counselling Centre of the Domicile District, he shall relinquish the proprietorship of unit/enterprise and also stakes, if any, in such self-employment unit/enterprise before joining the Government service. He shall be required to repay the entire loan liability in suitable EMIs to be worked out by the DDO concerned from his salary. DDO concerned shall obtain an affidavit

from the concerned appointee regarding both relinquishment of proprietorship and stakes, if any, in such a self-employment unit/enterprise and recovery to e made and also personally monitor its recovery.

That appointee shall give an undertaking in the shape of an affidavit to the effect that if on verification, his Qualification/Date of Birth/Category Certificates, if any, from the concerned issuing authority are found to be fake/forged, the claim of the appointee for appointment as Junior Assistant, shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio and legal action as warranted, under rules shall be initiated against him.

The salary of the appointee shall not be drawn and disbursed unless a satisfactory report in respect of genuineness of Qualification/Date of Birth/Category Certificate, if any, is received from the concerned authorities.

The appointment of the candidate shall be governed by the “New Pension Scheme” as notified vide SRO-400 of 2009 dated: 24-12-2009.

The seniority of the members of cadre shall be regulated under J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956 and shall be fixed in accordance with the merit obtained by appointees in the final selection list issued by JKSSB.

8) The appointment of the above appointee shall be subject to outcome of writ Petition(s), if any, pending before Competent Court of law.

9) The appointee shall be initially on probation for a period of two years.
