RRUIM Srinagar JRF Biochemistry Vacancy 2025 – Walk-in Interview On 2 July

The Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar, under the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has announced a walk-in interview for one post of Junior Research Fellow (Biochemistry). The post is funded under the Intra-Mural Research Grant by CCRUM and is purely contractual.

Eligible candidates are invited to appear for the walk-in-interview on 2 July 2025 at the institute campus located in Naseem Bagh Campus, Habak Chowk, Kashmir University, Srinagar. This recruitment is for a research project led by Dr. Towseef Amin Rafeeqi, the Principal Investigator.

The JRF post is temporary and initially for a period of six months, which may be extended depending on the performance and project needs.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Post-Graduation in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Clinical Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or any allied Life Sciences discipline.
Desirable: Hands-on experience in biochemical, molecular biology, and cell culture techniques. Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on the day of interview.
Salary: ₹37,000 per month + 20% HRA
Tenure: Initially for six months; may be extended based on performance.

Selection Process
The selection will be based on performance in the walk-in interview. No written test will be conducted.
