SRINAGAR: The Transport Commissioner has targeted 103 traffic offenders by blacklisting and suspension of route permits.
An official said that the Transport Commissioner Jammu and Kashmir has targeted the top 103 serious traffic violators. Buses led the list, with 96 pending challans.
He further said that of these, 27 (28.12 per cent) are for overloading. It’s essential to gather more information on serious traffic offenders.
Strict action will be taken against these traffic violators, including blacklisting and suspension of route permits. Personal accountability and discipline are the fundamentals of road safety, they added. (GNS)
