RITES Ltd Notification 2025 For Resident Engineer Posts In Western Region

RITES Limited has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for the position of Resident Engineer in the Western region. There are 8 vacancies announced under this notification.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for Resident Engineer, candidates must have a full-time diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in inspection. Candidates with a degree in these branches are also eligible. For diploma holders, a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination is required for General and EWS candidates and also for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved posts. The maximum age limit is 40 years as on 23.08.2025. Persons with disabilities in categories such as OL, OA, OAL, BL, HI, and LV can also apply.

Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs. 300 plus applicable taxes for General and OBC candidates. For EWS, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates, the fee is Rs. 100 plus applicable taxes.

Selection Process:
The selection will be based on a written test consisting of 125 objective type questions carrying one mark each. The test duration is 2.5 hours and there is no negative marking. PwBD candidates will get an additional 50 minutes of compensatory time. Candidates need to score at least 50% marks for UR/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD to qualify.
