SRINAGAR: Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma on Saturday highlighted growing unrest among National Conference (NC) legislators following the Rajya Sabha victory of Sat Sharma, suggesting that many are seeking alternative political directions.
Sharma said, “We expected this support, as there has been increasing dissatisfaction among MLAs, especially within the National Conference. Many are unhappy with the State Government and are looking for an alternative.”
He further added that this marks the first move by legislators aiming to align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for development and peace in Jammu Kashmir.
“I sincerely thank all the MLAs who have extended their support for this cause. This is just the beginning — let’s see what unfolds next,” Sharma remarked, hinting at possible political realignments in the near future. (KDC)
