Srinagar, Aug 28: The rising water level of the Jhelum River raised concerns for dwellings along its banks and within the low-lying areas of its overflow channels.
In response, the administration took all precautionary measures.Contingency plans were activated, and response teams were put in place as water levels continued to rise throughout Wednesday.
