Professor	PhD with first class or equivalent in relevant branch with very good academic record	Minimum 10 years teaching, research or industrial experience including at least 4 years as Associate Professor
Associate Professor	PhD with first class or equivalent in relevant branch with very good academic record	Minimum 6 years teaching, research or industrial experience including at least 3 years as Assistant Professor
Assistant Professor Grade-I	PhD with first class or equivalent in relevant branch with very good academic record	Minimum 3 years teaching, research or industrial experience excluding experience gained during PhD
Assistant Professor Grade-II	PhD with first class or equivalent in relevant branch with very good academic record	Fresh PhD candidates eligible. Appointment initially on contract basis
