Reality of BJP getting exposed, Congress only alternative: Tariq Hameed Karra

Srinagar, Mar 28: JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra has said that people are getting fed up with the policies and programmes of BJP in Jammu region and are turning towards congress party which is only secular, progressive and unifying force in the region.

Welcoming  several prominent  leaders and activists  from R.S. Pura belt into the party fold  Karra said that congress party is a platform for all sections of the society to  strengthen  unity, integrity and democracy in the country. He cautioned  against the communal and divisive  policies  of BJP for vote bank politics  and termed it against the secular fabric of our nation.

He said that the doors of congress party are open for all secular and progressive people who want to save democracy and the constitutional values in this country which are under severe threat and strain under the Modi regime.

Working President Raman Bhalla said that people in Jammu region  feel cheated  from BJP as the party has failed to come up to the expectations of people  even after getting huge mandate in parliament and Assembly since 2014.  He said that Jammu has suffered on all fronts and there is an atmosphere of insecurity on various fronts amongst the youth of Jammu besides large scale increase in unemployment and crime rate.  He said J&K lost identity, status of statehood and the brigade of BJP MLAs, MPs are totally silent before their high command over the injustice to Jammu and Kashmir.

JKPCC President  Tariq Hameed Karra alongwith Working President Raman Bhalla,  Ex-MP T.S. Bajwa, Ved Mahajan Ex-MLC Incharge HQ, Ch. Gharu Ram (Ex-Minister), Block President R.S. Pura, Yash Pal – Block President Meran Sahib S. Gurmeet Singh  welcomed  several Ex-sarpanchs and Panchs  of R.S. Pura belt into the congress party at PCC HQ Jammu. Those who joined include Sham Lal Bhagat, Shashi Kumar, Tilak Raj Bhagat (all Ex-Sarpanches), Trilochan Lal Ex- Naib Sarpanch, Dolat Ram Namberdar, Madan Lal, Som Nath, Ramesh Bhagat and others.
