RCB IBDC Project Contractual Posts Notification 2025 Out For 13 Positions, Apply Online

Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) has released the official notification inviting online applications for various contractual posts under the Indian Biological Data Centre (IBDC) Phase-1 Project. A total of 13 posts are open for Database Manager, Software Developer, Data Curator, System Administrator, and more roles.

As per the official advertisement dated 26 June 2025, the upper age limit for the posts is up to 45 years, depending on the position. The selected candidates will receive consolidated monthly emoluments ranging from Rs. 41,041 to Rs. 1,24,541 based on qualifications and experience. The selection will be based on screening and interview by a duly constituted committee.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: The required qualifications vary by post and include PhD, MTech, BTech, MCA, or MSc in disciplines such as Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Data Science, and related streams. Experience ranging from 2 to 8 years is required based on the role.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 45 years for most positions, while the Data Curator post has a limit of 40 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

Other Requirements: Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, LINUX, PostGres, MongoDB, Java, and cloud/HPC technologies is necessary for several posts. Specific responsibilities and technical skills are required for each position as detailed in the official notification.
