Rajouri’s IPS probationer clears exam again

Rajouri, Mar 7: Ghulam Maya Din, a young man from Rajouri district, has once again qualified for the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination, marking his second consecutive success in the highly competitive exam.

Maya Din had earlier cleared the examination in 2024 and was allotted the Indian Police Service (IPS). He is currently undergoing training as an IPS probationer.

A resident of Behrote in Rajouri, Maya Din completed his schooling at the Himalayan School Rajouri.

According to family members, he appeared again in the Civil Services Examination this year and successfully cleared it once more, bringing pride to his family and the entire region.

“Ghulam appeared in the examination again this year and has successfully cleared it,” family members said, adding that his back-to-back success has made everyone proud.

Although Maya Din could not be contacted, his family attributed the achievement to his dedication, hard work and determination.

Calling it a proud moment for the region, the management of Himalayan Education Mission Rajouri congratulated him on his remarkable accomplishment.

“This is a proud moment for the entire J&K. Ghulam Maya Din is probably among the few aspirants in the country who have cleared the Civil Services Examination in two consecutive years,” the management said, describing him as a proud alumnus of the institution.
