Rajnath Singh arrives in Jammu, heads to GMC to meet injured

Jammu, Aug 24: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reached Jammu on Sunday and immediately left for GMC Jammu to meet those injured in the recent Kishtwar cloudburst tragedy.

Rajnath Singh was accompanied by Union Minister of State in the PMO, Dr. Jitendra Singh. On arrival, he was received at the airport by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary of J&K.

The Defence Minister is scheduled to review the relief and rescue measures underway and take stock of the situation in Kishtwar. (KNC)
