RailTel Invites Applications For Engineer Posts, Check Eligibility And Apply Now

RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL), a Government of India Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has released Vacancy Notice No: RCIL/ER/P&A/Rectt./2025-26/1 for the recruitment of experienced technical personnel. The recruitment is purely on a contract basis for one year, extendable depending on project requirements and candidate performance.

The total number of vacancies is six—five for Signalling & Telecom Engineers and one for Civil Engineer. The last date to apply is 30th July 2025, and the tentative date of interview is 20th August 2025.

This recruitment drive aims to fill six contractual engineering positions for RailTel’s ongoing projects.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Signalling & Telecom Engineers: Candidates must have a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecom, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. in Electronics, or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in S&T construction projects (SSI/EI/RRI/PI systems) is required.

For Civil Engineers: Candidates must have a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in infrastructure projects like Railways, Metro, Highways, Airports, or Industrial buildings.

The minimum age for applicants is 24 years and the maximum is 50 years (55 years after all relaxations). Age relaxations are available for SC, OBC, and departmental candidates as per rules.
