Rafi Mir thanks LG, praises stakeholders for successful Amarnath Yatra

Srinagar, Aug 3: Former MLA of Pahalgam, Rafi Ahmad Mir, has extended gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for the safe and successful conduct of the Shri Amarnath Yatra 2025, despite its early conclusion due to adverse weather conditions.

Calling the pilgrimage a “remarkable achievement in challenging circumstances,” Mir praised the administration for its swift response, strong planning, and coordination. He said over 4.14 lakh pilgrims were able to perform darshan safely at the holy cave, as per KNS.

Mir credited the administration, security forces, civil departments, and volunteers for working tirelessly amid continuous rainfall and tough terrain.

He also thanked the local people of Pahalgam for their warmth and support.
