Srinagar, July 2: Former legislator representing the Pahalgam Constituency and Apni Party General Secretary, Rafi Ahmad Mir, along with Imaad Mir and several civil society members, today welcomed the first batch of Amarnath Yatris upon their arrival in Pahalgam from Jammu. The first batch of Yatris is scheduled to proceed to the holy cave tomorrow via the traditional Baltal and Pahalgam routes.
On this occasion, Mir thanked the local residents and tourism stakeholders for giving a warm welcome to the Yatris.
He said, “The Yatris are on a spiritual journey, and they are our guests. Let’s ensure that their journey is pleasant, filled with religious fervor, and as secure as possible.”
“The people of Kashmir have always been an integral part of the Amarnath Yatra. We are all stakeholders in this sacred pilgrimage.”
