Power Shutdown to Affect Several Srinagar Areas on March 25 | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), has announced a scheduled power shutdown on March 25 due to maintenance work on key transmission lines.

According to officials, the shutdown of the 33 kV Bemina–Fateh Kadal line and the 33 kV Bemina–Barbarshah line will disrupt electricity supply from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Areas likely to be affected include KK Mohalla, Nowpora, Bohri Kadal, BB Shah, Bishamber Nagar, Gousia Hospital, Naisadak, Barbarshah, Exchange, Basant Bagh, Car Parking Maisuma, and adjoining localities.

The power utility has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements during the shutdown period.
