Police vehicle damaged after being hit by shooting stones in Ramban; no injuries reported

Banihal, Apr 06: A police vehicle en route to District Police Lines (DPL) Pulwama from Jammu was hit by shooting stones near Karool landslide in Ramban district on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), officials said.

The vehicle came under sudden stone shooting in the affected stretch, causing damage. However, all police personnel on board had a narrow escape and no injuries were reported.

Officials said landslides and shooting stones continue to pose a threat in the Karool area of Ramban and commuters have been advised to exercise caution.
