
Srinagar, Jan 6: The Srinagar unit of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), led by Party General Secretary Muhammad Khursheed Aalam, along with party spokespersons Muhammad Iqbal Tramboo and Zuhaib Mir, former State Secretary Arif Laigroo, and ex MLA Noor Muhammad Shiekh organised a blood donation camp at the PDP headquarters here, in memory of the late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed.
Speaking on the occasion, PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Aalam said, “Mufti Muhammad Sayeed Sahib devoted his entire life to healing wounds and restoring dignity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. This blood donation camp is a humble tribute to his humanitarian vision and his belief that politics must always serve humanity.”
Party spokesperson Muhammad Iqbal Tramboo said, “Mufti Sahib symbolised compassion and reconciliation. By donating blood in his memory, PDP workers are carrying forward his message of empathy, service and solidarity with the people.” Party spokesperson Zuhaib Mir said, “Mufti Sahib always emphasised service to society and standing with the vulnerable. This initiative is a continuation of his legacy of humanity and people-centric politics.” Former State Secretary Arif Laigroo said, “Mufti Sahib taught us that true leadership lies in standing with people in their hour of need. This camp is a living reminder of his commitment to human values and public service.” During the camp, PDP workers donated 85 units of blood, which were handed over to SKIMS Srinagar, underscoring the party’s commitment to humanitarian service, it further added.
