Jammu, Nov. 04: A drone was found in a field in Sakhi Maidan village of Mendhar sector, Poonch district, on Tuesday, officials said.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the local police recovered the drone from the site, located about six kilometres from the Line of Control (LoC).
According to officials, the SOG team reached the area after receiving information about a drone-like object spotted in an open field.
The drone was seized, and police have started an investigation to trace its source and purpose.
