Over 100 Bollywood Crew Members Hospitalised in Leh Due to Food Poisoning

SRINAGAR: Over 100 workers of a Bollywood film unit were admitted to SNM Hospital after suffering from food poisoning, officials said, acccording to a Daily Excelsior report.

The crew members, none of them locals, complained of severe abdominal pain, headache, and vomiting shortly after dinner at the shooting location. Around 600 people had reportedly consumed the meal, officials added. Food samples have been collected for laboratory analysis.

Hospital authorities said the emergency ward witnessed a rush of patients, prompting doctors and staff from all departments to be mobilised. Police were also called in to manage the panic situation.

“It is a clear case of food poisoning. All patients were provided timely treatment, and most have been discharged,” a doctor said, confirming that their condition is stable
