Srinagar, Feb 24: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has re-opened the online application portal for the Common University Entrance Test (UG) – 2026. This window is being provided to facilitate students who were unable to complete their registrations during the initial application periods in January and February, said a press release issued by CUK.

The NTA has stated that it received multiple representations from candidates requesting a further extension of the last date for submission of application forms and payment of fees.

According to the NTA notice, the portal will remain open for a brief period from the afternoon of 23 February 2026 to 26 February 2026 (11:50 PM). This extension includes both the submission of online application forms and the payment of the prescribed application fees. It added that unlike previous registration rounds, no correction facility will be provided after the submission of forms during this extended period. The CUET (UG) – 2026 is scheduled to be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from 11th of May to 31st May 2026 (tentative). The examination will be held at centers across India and in several cities outside the country.

Prospective candidates have been asked to complete their registrations on the official websites, https://nta.ac.in or https://cuet.nta.nic.in. For further assistance, the NTA Help Desk can be reached at 011-40759000 or via email at cuet-ug@nta.ac.in.
