Now AIP Legislator Sheikh Khursheed Extends Support to NC – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: In a fresh political development amid ongoing Rajya Sabha polls in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) MLA, Sheikh Khursheed has announced to vote in favour of National Conference (NC) candidates.

Khursheed, while talking to mediapersons as per Alfaaz – The Words, said that the decision is aimed at preventing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from securing a foothold in the Upper House through the J&K electoral college.

The announcement further consolidates the united front formed by the NC, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Congress, and CPI(M).
