Northern Railway Adds Extra 3AC Coach to Rajdhani Express Amid Heavy Rush | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: In view of heavy passenger demand and long waiting lists, the Jammu Division of Northern Railway has decided to attach an additional 3AC coach to Train No. 12425/12426 (Rajdhani Express) to improve accommodation and enhance travel convenience.

According to officials, the extra coach will be attached to Train No. 12426 (Rajdhani Express) from April 11 to April 24, providing increased seating capacity during the peak travel period.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal said the decision has been taken in response to a surge in passenger traffic during the summer vacation season, particularly due to increased tourist movement. He added that passenger convenience remains a top priority, and necessary steps are being taken to meet the rising demand.

Passengers can check berth availability in the additional coach and make reservations through the official IRCTC website or at railway reservation counters.
