No Cloudburst in Zojila, Confirms SSP Ganderbal

SRINAGAR: Following reports of heavy rainfall in the Zojila sector, police on Saturday clarified that no cloudburst had taken place in the area.

Speaking to Kashmir Life over the phone, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, Khalil Ahmad Poswal, confirmed that only a brief spell of rain occurred in the area and assured that no damage was reported from the sector.

The official urged people not to pay heed to rumours and clarified that traffic movement and local habitations remain safe.
