No Backlog of Contract Payments at Treasuries: DGAT | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries (DGAT) has rejected recent media reports suggesting delays in contract payments, calling them “false and inaccurate.”

In an official statement, the DGAT confirmed that all contract payment liabilities have been settled and there is no backlog at the treasuries.

“The Department has released full funds under Capex,” the statement said.

The DGAT also urged media organisations to include the Finance Department’s perspective in their reporting to ensure balanced and professional coverage.
