NIA Raids GMC Anantnag in South Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday reached Government Medical College Anantnag in south Kashmir to collect documents in connection with the Red Fort blast case, official sources said.

Sources said that the NIA team sought specific documents from the medical college as part of its ongoing probe into the case. The officials remained at the medical college for several hours and interacted with the hospital administration to obtain the required documents.

The visit is said to be part of the agency’s efforts to verify and corroborate evidence linked to the investigation. However, officials did not disclose further details, citing the sensitive nature of the probe.

The NIA continues to investigate various aspects of the Red Fort blast case, including possible links, movement of suspects and supporting evidence across different locations. (KDC)
