National e-Governance Division has released the official notification for the Technical Internship Programme 2025. This internship is offered under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.

The programme is designed to provide engineering graduates and postgraduates with real-world exposure through hands-on work on live projects. A total of 50 internship slots are available across multiple technical domains. Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend and a completion certificate after successful completion of the internship.

Eligibility Criteria of NeGD Internship Programme

Only candidates meeting the above eligibility conditions will be considered for the internship programme.

Duration of Technical Internship

The Technical Internship Programme will be conducted twice a year in January and July sessions. The duration of the internship is fixed at six months and will not be extended under any circumstances.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic performance, certifications and relevant initiatives. Final selection will be done through interviews conducted by the internal selection committee of NeGD. Meeting minimum eligibility does not guarantee selection.

Stipend and Certificate Details

Selected interns will receive a stipend of Rs. 20,000 per month, subject to satisfactory performance certified by the mentor. A completion certificate will be issued after successful completion of six months, provided regular attendance and performance requirements are met.
